The company's tenth anniversary season continues with a celebratory mixed rep program featuring prized works by Walsh, a brilliant piece from one of the most iconic choreographers in our repertoire, star dancers from around the world, and one of Houston's beloved ballerinas.

No choreographer is more praised today than Jiří Kylián, the master of fusing classical and modern dance. 27'52" is full of dazzling detail and deeply moving partner work and is set to an intense electronic composition by Dirk Haubrich based on lyrical motifs by Gustav Mahler. Please Note: 27'52" contains nudity.
NESSUNO TEXAS PREMIERE
As a finalist of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago's National Choreographic Competition, Walsh created Nessuno in 2010. This thought-provoking work travels through three chapters, each representing the non-sequential states of being when one discovers a place of belonging.
WALSH WORLD PREMIERE
Vignettes of a moment, day, or life-span with emphasis on its beginnings and endings set to a soundscape featuring compositions by Arcangelo Corelli.

DUETS FROM THE TRILOGY: WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART
Domenico Luciano reprises his role as "Mozart" in Walsh's award-winning trilogy that features sets designed by Libbie Masterson. Luciano performs memorable duets with Stefania Figliossi, who wowed audiences in our season opener, and extraordinary Japanese ballerina Hana Sakai. Sakai is regarded as one of the most prominent and popular ballet dancers in Japan, and she currently dances with New National Theatre, Tokyo.
TYANN CLEMENT RETURNS TO THE STAGE IN WALSH'S THE DYING SWAN
To continue this season's cameo appearances from Houston's most celebrated ballerinas, we proudly present Tyann Clement in Walsh's dramatic The Dying Swan solo. Clement danced with Houston Ballet for 17 years and also danced in DWDT's debut performances as a founding company member.
